After the Moon glides into Pisces late Friday night July 6, 2012, the 12^th sign of the Zodiac will spread its sensitive, emotional vibrations for the entire weekend. This vulnerable Water sign can give us vibrant dreams and imaginings. Keep paper and pen handy to jot down any genius moments that may result. This can be great for creativity – paint something, draw something, write something, compose something.

Yes, the “livin’ is easy” as we enjoy the Summer Solstice, Wednesday June 20, 2012. Besides being the longest day of the year, in the Northern Hemisphere, it also means the Sun has moved into the sign of Cancer, the Moon ruled 4^th sign of the Zodiac. This Water sign is emotional, sensitive, concerned with family, a powerful nurturer.  And, if they love you, they will feed you. We will all be under this sign’s caring influences for the next 4 weeks. Nice.

I think Cancers make good actors – all that deep, vibrating emotion and sensitivity can be released by playing out their secret selves on stage. Welcome to “twins” Land.  Gemini is the 3rd sign of the Zodiac, representing duality (think Castor and Pollux).  This Air sign is all about flexibility, multi-tasking, being busy, needing change. *Mercury, planet of Communication, rules Gemini and is therefore very comfortable there. The transit lasts from May 24 thru June 7 and during this time the cleverness and adaptability of Gemini, along with its critical and sarcastic talents rise to the surface. Everyone knows that Gemini is smart and sharp, no need for unprovoked take downs with verbal sparring or careless gossip.

*Jupiter, planet of opportunity, luck, excess, will sit in Gemini from June 12, 2012 until June 29, 2013. This planet can lift spirits, add to the joy of life and also make us reckless, taking multi-tasking to new levels. Gemini’s communication talents can be stretched to outrageous, bigger is better proportions. This can be very entertaining, but ground yourself, contain the scatter and nervous energy.

Beginning Friday evening, we will be under the influence of a powerful, determined Scorpio Moon. Things get even more intense this weekend as the Lunar orb goes into its “Full” phase on Saturday night, May 5, 2012.  The 8^th sign of the Zodiac is a sensual, sensitive Water sign and the force of the Full Moon can distill all of its passion into a cauldron of “feelings”. Tuck in all exposed nerves. Pause before responding to slights or barbs, (real or imaginary). The comment or action that brought you to either anger or tears may not have been as snarky as imagined. Instead, use that Scorpio sizzle and passion to rock someone’s world in a delightful way. 

Scorpio pushes us to focus on money matters that may involve others. Are there any financial issues that need to be cleared or settled– taxes, business ventures? During a Full Moon, gauge what has been accomplished so far and move to finalize, complete tasks in the next few weeks. (Sort of a”what have I done?” and “what’s next”.)

The Second sign of the Zodiac, Taurus, has the Bull as its symbol. Perfect! The Sun moves into stubborn, steady, strong, security focused Taurus on Thursday April 19, 2012. However, since it is ruled by the lovely, romantic planet Venus, this sign has several other dimensions.

For the next 4 weeks, we can tap into all that muscle and determination so that we solidify and complete the projects started during the high energy of the Aries Sun. Earthy Taurus may be practical and dependable, but its also, sensual, a lover of beauty, good food and luxury. Loved ones are treated to poetry, music and gourmet restaurants, while getting a lecture on avoiding financial pot holes. A nice mix.

Under the influence of a Taurus Sun, watch out for a tendency to be overcautious – don’t miss out on opportunities due to fear. However, optimism should abound due to the transit of “Lucky” planet Jupiter in Taurus until June 12, 2012. True, some things are just too good to be true – so pay attention to “bigger is better” or “can’t lose”, over the top scenarios that Jupiter loves so much. Most of the weekend belongs to an ambitious, focused Capricorn Moon. Ruled by Saturn, the planet of boundaries and life lessons (not always fun, but can be maturing) use this sign’s serious, organized and authoritarian energy to  accomplish, complete and be in charge. On Sunday night, January 22, 2012,there will be change when the Moon moves into the next sign, friendly, unpredictable Aquarius.

The Sun is already in the 11^th sign of the Zodiac and when the Moon is visiting too, the Moon is called “New”. The 10 or so days following a New Moon is a great time to start a project, begin a class, create a masterpiece, etc. Power and possibilities for this Uranus ruled Air sign usually involves something to do with groups, or, something revolutionary- quite often both at the same time. Regardless, it will speak to Aquarian independence and love of the different.

While the Moon is in this Water sign, there may be a drift toward escape to other worlds, but hold on, stay grounded – the mood, along with the Lunar orb’s sign, will change on Saturday evening.

The Moon marches into the physical, aggressive sign of Aries. (Think “Action figure”.)  This Fire sign is ruled by the planet Mars – the unofficial patron saint of warriors.
