The Moon will be in the health and service oriented Earth sign Virgo beginning Friday morning which will be great for getting things done – but wait, there’s more. It’s that time again! On Sunday March 16, 2014, the Moon (Virgo) is opposite and reflecting the Sun (Pisces) = “Full Moon”. This Lunar phase wants us to complete projects, crystallize ideas, finalize whatever vitamin or diet regimen you may have been planning.  

The hard working 6^th sign of the Zodiac is about handling the details. Just be careful not to do too many things at once. Juggling might be exciting and a personal test of skills, but don’t go overboard. Think “pace”. The universe will support you in being productive, useful, healthy and whole.

Friday evening, January 31, 2014, the Moon slips into emotional water sign Pisces for the weekend. Dreamy, vague, sensitive, impressionable – focus may be difficult. Don’t take on the troubles of the world. Good news for artists – great time for creativity and imagination. Keep pen handy to jot down any useful night or day dreams.

On Friday January 10, 2014, a sensual Taurus Moon works its magic until a multi tasking Gemini Lunar orb brings a different kind of energy early Saturday morning until Sunday. Sensual, earthy, Venus ruled Taurus and chatty, airy, Mercury ruled Gemini should make for a social weekend – tender romance, delicious food, entertaining conversation, high or low brow literary pursuits – not bad!

For the next few days, take advantage of the moods and influences available in the universe due to the changing Zodiac Moon signs. However, note that although Taurus can be loving and full of charm, it can also be stubborn and determined. While Gemini’s quickness can make us clever and versatile, it can sometimes make us a little flighty and distracted. So, be self aware and choose to use whichever traits work best for you depending upon, time, place and company.

On Saturday morning, January 4, 2014, the Moon floats into Water sign Pisces for the weekend. Sensitive and impressionable, we may experience vibrant dreams, imaginings, relaxing of boundaries and cravings to escape. Generally, this can all be fine – great for creativity, but not so much if reality loses anchor.

Neptune, planet ruler of this 12^th Zodiac sign, can infuse us with feelings of vulnerability and compassion, blur life’s edges and fog what is genuine.  Do remain grounded and sober. If there is something important to be done, get a grip, focus and handle it, but if it can wait, hold off until things are clearer, less vague.

A stubborn, determined, sensual, Venus ruled Taurus Moon can make December 13, 2013 an exciting, rather than frightening Friday. It’s all about life’s beauty and pleasures, but it also brings forth the obstinate bull in us. Is there such a thing as inflexible love? Nobody wants to lose, give up/ give in, change direction. “Stickin-to-your-guns” works, until it doesn’t. Pay attention and accept when it stops working. Regardless, luxuriate in good food, good people and good times.

Sunday will have us talking more, writing more, etc due to the Moon’s transit of the Gemini,  guided by communications planet Mercury. While Gemini’s duality (the Twins?) can make us clever and versatile, we can also be a little flighty and distracted – so think before you speak or push “send” on that email or text. The unpredictable, independent, Uranus ruled Aquarius Moon on Friday December 6, 2013 might give us some surprises. If that makes you nervous, imagine all the fun you can have this weekend under the influence of this unconventional Air sign. Just think thru any extreme plans that might cross your mind. There may be consequences, fallout.

Early Sunday, we will experience a more warm and fuzzy feeling with the arrival of the Neptune ruled Pisces Moon. This water sign is dreamy, sensitive and imaginative, so be sure to stay grounded and hold on to reality. However, this is a great time to be creative. (Try to remember and write down any ideas that float to the surface while dreaming.)

Saturday and Sunday, 10/26 & 10/27, we are treated to a Fiery Leo Moon and all that it involves. The weekend can be full of fun, largesse, a little bit of showing off and lots of regal generosity of spirit. Enjoy any festivities you find yourself in the middle of whether planned or unplanned. The 5^th sign of the Zodiac is ruled by the Sun so a natural drift toward theatrics and melodrama could push thru. Take it in stride.

This month’s Full Moon is in the Fire sign of Aries on Friday October 18, 2013. During this Full phase, the Libra Sun is directly opposite and lights the Aries Moon. Rather than the more familiar crescent shape, the Moon is beautifully round. As it “wanes” on its way to the 3^rd and 4^th quarters, it’s a good time to finish up old projects, clean up messes that you have been staring at for the past few weeks. An Aries Moon is perfect for physical activity. So use the extra energy and get it done! By clearing out useless stuff, you create space for the “new” – ideas, things, spaces, people. However, this forceful sign, ruled by Mars, can be a little over the top sometimes. Don’t automatically use the flame thrower to weed out the old, think things through before throwing it out.

Then as the Venus ruled Taurus Moon arrives early Saturday morning, we have 2 days of practicality, resourcefulness, security mindedness along with leanings toward comfort and beauty. Diverse and all good.

An extra oomph, an extra buzz are just some of what we will experience as a result of the Aries Moon transit beginning on Friday morning 8/23/13. Aries, the first Fire sign of the Zodiac, ruled by planet Mars, can make us confrontational and hurried, so watch the combustion. Strive for the hammer in the velvet glove approach. Personally, I think super things can happen with all the high energy as long as feet stay on the ground. Keep cockiness to a minimum whenever possible. (At least try.)

Atmosphere calms as the Moon moves into practical Taurus early Sunday morning. Our thoughts turn to money – again. But, since this Earth sign is ruled by Venus, wanting to get close to love and luxury will also be in the air. Beautify self and surroundings to spur romace. And maybe strategize about what needs to be done to feel financially and emotionally secure?
