Sensitive, Sentimental Pisces Full Moon, 8/26/18
On Sunday August 26, the Full Lunar orb is in Water sign Pisces. The “Full” stage of the Moon intensifies the characteristics & energy of the Astrology sign it’s in. Think: emotion, creativity, imagination, sometimes hazy reality.
Be as caring and compassionate as Pisces wants us to be, just don’t be taken in by any promises or sad stories. Be present, stay in the moment – dismiss any escapist urges. Even when reality bites, it can be handled without mind altering options. Take care of your inner self. You matter.
When the Moon is “Full”, the Sun is directly opposite and lights it up – round and beautiful. The Moon is “waning” on its way to the 3rd and 4th quarters, making it a good time to finish up old projects, clean up messes that you have been procrastinating about for the past few weeks.

Pisces Sun 2/18/15 – Imagine!
Solar energy enters this compassionate, intuitive, emotional Water sign making the next few weeks a good time for our imagination to shine. Piscean characteristics are heightened, meaning the subconscious is very important. It can be great for anyone associated with the arts – new ideas for music, dance, writing might push to the surface faster than usual. Pay attention to your dreams (take notes) but remember to stay grounded and connected. Over sensitivity to adverse energy or vibrations is no excuse to drift away from reality. Be productive, be creative.
The 12th sign of the Zodiac’s planet ruler, mystical Neptune, transits the sign until 2025. We will probably notice the influences of this outer planet somewhere in our chart. Neptune has a reputation for clouding the water, fading boundaries, and fostering escapism, but, the things that make life unsettled can also enhance creativity and imagination. Use the best of it.
World peace has to start somewhere, so tap into the sympathy / empathy that Pisces is known for and spread kindness among family and friends. Use clear judgment while offering assistance where it is genuinely needed.
As always, those most affected have the Sun and/or Ascendant in the specified sign.

Cancer Full Moon – It’s About Home!
The first Full Moon of the year occurs on Sunday, January 04, 2015 in the sensitive, family and home focused Water sign of Cancer. As a “New” Moon is best for beginning projects- starting something new, implementation of ideas – the “Full” phase (Moon opposes the Sun in the sky, as it “wanes” on its way to the 3rd and 4th quarters) is optimum for the finalization of projects, clearing up messes, etc. Finishing touches are best done during the last 2 weeks of Moon quarters. The cycle begins again at the next New Moon phase – January 20.
When Cancer is involved, completing old business may have something to do with where you live – cleaning out the old, giving space to the new. Gather and give away anything no longer useful or positive in your space; whether it be things, feelings or conversations. It’s a good time to tie up any loose ends of DIY projects that just keep hanging on.

Scorpio Full Moon – Go Passionate, Go Deep!
Things might get a little intense on Wednesday May 14, 2014. Scorpio, a passionate water sign, can be emotional and sensitive and the force of a Full Moon can distill all that power into a cauldron of “feelings”. All that energy can go off the charts. Tuck in all exposed nerves. Don’t take everything personally. During a Full Moon, gauge what has been accomplished so far and move to finalize, complete tasks in the next few weeks. Use Scorpio’s focus and determination to figure out what to keep and what to throw away (meaning – discard whatever is no longer useful.) Letting go is not necessarily giving up.
Saturday & Sunday Moon In Cancer
May 3 and 4, 2014 could be a weekend of emotional mood swings, creativity and/or over the top hospitality as the Moon settles into the nurturing Water sign it rules = Cancer. We may experience feelings of sensitivity and vulnerability, but don’t use it as an excuse to indulge in some emotional over eating.
Rather than looking for hurt feelings – your own or anyone else’s – be proactive. Unleash the inner artist and you can always cook, set a pretty table. It’s the perfect outlet for all that “nurture” driven energy. Decide to make family, friends, and yourself comfortable and happy. You’ll enjoy it.
Have a fulfilling weekend!
Home – Weekend Cancer Moon!
Saturday afternoon, 4/5/14 thru Monday morning, the Moon will be in the homey Water sign it rules – Cancer. It’s very comfortable and happy in this emotional, familycentric sign. It can put us in the perfect mood for creating a safe, relaxed gathering of loved ones but it can also make us over-sensitive and prickly. Downplay any moodiness and let Cancer’s kind, nurturing way of being show up.
Being welcoming, making guests comfortable, sharing delicious things, taking care of everyone will be important while under the influence of a Cancer Moon. This can be a loving, nurturing time. Surround yourself and enjoy.
Have a great weekend!
Get Ready For The Passionate, Intense Scorpio Sun!
On October 22, Pacific Time, and October 23, 2013, Eastern Time, the Sun moved into Scorpio the 8th sign of the Zodiac. It brings intensity and deep feelings and can take partnerships to new sensual, sizzling heights.
With its traditional planet ruler Mars (energy and aggression) and its co ruler Pluto, (power and transformation) any superficial skimming of the surface just won’t do. Save the relationship “lite” for another time. Although, being too passionate and emotional may cause us to get wrapped up in life’s drama and then discover that the resulting “overwhelm” does not quite match the situation. Nothing wrong with using an internal pause button when dealing with friends and loved ones to give us a chance to think, rather than just react.
Mercury, communication planet, will be transiting Scorpio (including its 3 week Retrograde period) until December 5, 2013. Saturn, planet of discipline, perseverance, and boundaries, will be visiting Scorpio until December 2014. The demand for the “real”, in conversation and action, goes up a few notches.
Regardless of where it appears in your personal chart, we can accomplish a lot during this time using Scorpio’s power and focus. But also remember that laughter can be used as a balm to stabilize, bring things into perspective and lighten the atmosphere. Save any overflowing angst and/or grudges for another day – it may dissipate as the mood changes.

3rd & *Final* Mercury Retrograde Of 2013!
Mercury Retrograde in the emotional, water sign of Scorpio begins on October 21, 2013. Yes, it’s the last one of the year. Back up your stuff! Don’t let carelessness or lack of focus bite you in the nether regions. Mercury, (planet of communications, transportation, education, manual dexterity) stopping and then moving backwards in the sky is not a tragedy, but it can get in the way of things running smoothly. So, just in case – pay attention. Make sure loose ends are tied. We will get thru these potentially dicey 3 weeks once again.
As always, use this time to review or revisit projects. Don’t go overboard, especially with the Retrograde occurring in “dig deeper” Scorpio, the 8th sign of the Zodiac. Its natural intensity is a great opportunity to research, re calculate, re think. Does the plan make sense? Was anything missed? Are there any monetary, financial recounts necessary? When Mercury goes Direct on November 10, things will gradually become unstuck as the planet picks up speed. You’ll be able go forward with anything you may have discovered.
BTW: Mercury just “appears” to go backwards. Planets only move forward, however, due to the earth’s orbit around the Sun, the positions are such that it looks like a reverse motion from earth.
*Mercury Retrograde – Monday 10/21/13, 6:29 AM Eastern / 3:29 AM Pacific (Until November 10, 2013)
Harvest Full Moon in Pisces 9/19/13
The “Full” stage of the Moon intensifies the characteristics/energy of the Astrology sign its in. So, Full Moon in Water sign Pisces, think: emotion, creativity, hazy reality, imagination. If you have something important to do, stay focused. Be discerning. If things seem a little vague, you may want to delay any decisions.
Use any heightened sensitivity for the creation of beautiful things. Spread some Pisces kindness among family and friends. Smile at nice looking strangers. (This is where that “discerning” thing comes in handy)
Be as imaginative, caring and compassionate as you wish, just don’t be taken in by any promises or sad stories. Be present, stay in the moment – dismiss any escapist urges. Reality may often bite, but it can be handled without mind altering options. Take care of your inner self. You matter.

FYI: The “Harvest” Moon is whichever Full Moon occurs closest to the Autumn Equinox.
Accomplishment Central – New Moon in Virgo!
On Thursday September 5, 2013, both the New Moon and the Sun are in efficient Earthy Virgo. We experience a double dose of the responsible, practical, detail oriented 6th sign of the Zodiac. Like all “New” Lunar phases, the next 2 weeks are a great time for initiating, starting, creating, etc. Use it to organize and de-clutter both mind and surroundings.
Take advantage of Virgo’s natural “I’ll handle it” approach to take a look at health and nutrition. Are there things to be improved – diet, exercise? Don’t spend too much time being critical of yourself. Take care of needed changes now.
