On Monday, February 4, 2019, an Aquarius New Moon will give power and possibilities to our group actions. It also moves us into the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Pig (wealth, good fortune). Aquarius, a Uranus ruled Air sign, wants us involved with humanitarian issues – exercise those revolutionary muscles by joining or creating movements with the aim of defeating the status quo. Regardless of what’s going on, it will speak to Aquarian need for independence, an attraction to the radical and anything different.

For a Moon to be considered “New”, both Sun and Moon are in the same sign, thereby intensifying the sign’s traits. A walk on the wild side (with lots of friends) may prove irresistible. Just remember, all revolts are not equal or righteous, especially when participants are required to pay up front. Moderation works.

The Vernal Equinox arrived, in the Northern Hemisphere, on Tuesday March 20^, 2018 at 1 degree of impulsive, high energy Aries, the 1^st sign of the Zodiac. In the past 12 months, the Sun has transited all the Astrology signs and the cycle starts anew. Let’s spring into action! (Sorry, I couldn’t resist it 😆).

Ruled by warrior planet Mars, aggressive Aries can be used to springboard ideas and projects that have been percolating all Winter. Be aware that unpredictable Uranus will be in this sign until 2019. Heads up! The first Mercury Retrograde of 2018 happens on Thursday March 22, in the first sign of the Zodiac – impulsive, energetic, “me first”, Aries. In the midst of the Communication planet’s backward move, there can be snafus, confusion, flubbed details, wild declarations while speaking, texting & FBing. Besides written / verbal interaction, this may affect business, education, small gadgets (back up your stuff) and transportation (travel delays, wrong destinations – a few weeks ago a German Shepherd destined for Kansas, wound up in Japan).

This month the Full Moon, called a “Harvest Moon” due to the season, is in the 1^st sign of the Zodiac. As always with Fire sign Aries, make sure you have something physical to do to burn off all that excess energy. Reign in any aggressive urges, think before you act. Ruled by “Warrior” planet Mars, its combustible, aggressive, spark plug traits may be influenced by transiting Uranus, the unpredictable planet of change and revolution. (It remains until May 2018.)
