The Sun moved into ambitious, generous, enthusiastic Leo on July 22, 2015 and on Friday August 14th, the Moon will also be in the same regal Fire sign. Since this particular Moon phase is always great for beginnings, take it as a sign of encouragement to start something in the next few days. Solar driven joy and confidence bodes well for an active, energetic, creative time. Have fun with any melodrama that might ensue.  (Drama doesn’t always have to be a hissy fit.)

Also, use the Full Moon’s energy to finish projects begun at the time of the last New Moon (1/20/15). Wednesday, January 15, 2014, finds us with a Full Moon in the nurturing, sensitive Water sign of Cancer at 11:52 PM EST/ 8:52 PM PST. So, as a “New” Moon is best for beginning projects- starting something new, implementation of ideas – the “Full” phase (Moon opposes the Sun in the sky, as it  “wanes” on its way to the 3rd and 4th quarters) is optimum for the finalization of projects, plans, etc.

Cancer is family and home focused, so completing old business may involve where you live – clearing out the old, giving space to the new. Gather up and give away anything no longer useful or positive in your space, whether it be things, feelings  or conversations. Good time to get rid of what’s “done and dusted” and move on to what’s next.  

FYI: The Moon shifts into regal, Fiery Leo early the next morning, however, “Full” energy remains for approximately 10 days. Crystallization is best done during the final Moon quarters. The circle begins again at the next New Moon phase, January 30th.

Saturday and Sunday, 10/26 & 10/27, we are treated to a Fiery Leo Moon and all that it involves. The weekend can be full of fun, largesse, a little bit of showing off and lots of regal generosity of spirit. Enjoy any festivities you find yourself in the middle of whether planned or unplanned. The 5^th sign of the Zodiac is ruled by the Sun so a natural drift toward theatrics and melodrama could push thru. Take it in stride.

Call home – Friday Morning, 8/30/13, the Moon moves into its own sign again of Cancer. Its a Water sign and we’re drawn to hearth and home or anywhere we are hanging our hat this weekend. The Moon makes us sensitive and emotional, but don’t rule out the often soothing merits of a good meal. Downplay any moodiness and let Cancer’s kind, nurturing way of being show up.
