No matter what else is going on, (and there has been so much lately), the Vernal Equinox will spring into the Northern Hemisphere. This year, Spring happens on Tuesday March 19, 2024.

Astrologically speaking, the 1^st day of Spring is also the day the Sun enters the 1^st degree of the 1^st sign of the Zodiac – high energy Fire sign Aries. Ruled by warrior planet Mars, Aries is “out front”, physical, impulsive, prone to rushing and risk taking. We can bungee jump off that mountain of ideas and projects that has been stewing all winter – the universe will support. However, let’s be active with purpose and focus rather than act just because we’re bored. Risk vs reckless~ don’t be careless. Think a project through and complete it. But, don’t forget to have fun. Spring has sprung and everyone can use a little bit of controlled craziness every once in awhile.

Also, giving potential snap and crackle to our interactions, Communication planet Mercury is transiting Aries from 3/11/to 5/16/24. Writing, speaking, may have more quickness, edge and bite – you’ll be great in debates? Create powerful tweets? (Just watch the snark) There will be a Mercury Retrograde period from 4/1 to 4/25/24.

As always, those most affected have the Sun and/or Rising sign in Aries, but the rest of us will still feel the feisty vibes somewhere in our lives depending upon where the Fire sign appears in our chart.

On Sunday, March 20, 2022, the Sun moved into the dynamic 1st sign of the Zodiac – Aries.  We began the cycle again and  it’s  celebrated as “International Astrology Day”! It is also the beginning of the Vernal Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere – Spring has sprung!

Mars ruled Fire sign Aries is “out front”, physical, impulsive, prone to rushing and risk taking. We can bungee jump off that mountain of ideas and projects that have been stewing all winter. Pay attention to those urges to just “act” (act out or act up). Think a project through and complete it. But, don’t forget to have fun. Spring is here and everyone can use a little bit of controlled craziness every once in awhile.

Adding potential “snap, crackle and pop” to interactions, Communication planet Mercury transits Aries from 3/28 until 4/12/22. Reminder! March 20th is the beginning of the Vernal Equinox – Spring is here. At  10:32am  PDT -1:32pm EDT, the Sun moves into the dynamic first sign of the Tropical Zodiac – Aries.

This is a great time for beginnings, start ups, what to plant, etc – all that  Aries impulsive, physical, high energy can be used to snow board off that cliff of ideas and projects you’ve been contemplating all winter. The universe will support you.

Mars went direct on 3/10, there was a New Moon on 3/15 and Mercury moves out of  fuzzy Pisces into volatile Aries today,  3/17, (communication should be sharper, but watch for arguments – be nice). We should keep our eyes open for opportunities. Pay attention to our urges to “act” – especially, action with purpose, not just because we’re bored. Even with excellent timing, we still need to remember to “focus”.  Aries is also the father of rushing, risk taking and scattered energies.  Think a project through and complete it.
