Friday the 13th, A Harvest Moon and The Lunar Orb is “Full” in Pisces. Oh My!
The possibilities are endless. We have “Triskaidekaphobia” Day – scary? bad? troublesome? Get a grip. On Friday, September 13, 2019, the West Coast will have a “Harvest” Full Moon in sensitive, emotional Water sign Pisces. (The Full Moon happens after Midnight September 14 on the East Coast)
The 11th sign of the Zodiac is wonderful for creativity and connecting with others, but sometimes not so much for staying grounded. Be as imaginative, caring and compassionate as you wish. Be present, stay in the moment – dismiss any escapist urges. Reality may often bite, but it can be handled without mind altering options. Take care of your inner self. You matter.
When the Moon is Full, the Sun is directly opposite and lights it up. The “Full” phase has great energy to finish up old projects. Finalize. Complete.
~ Pisces Full Moon * Sept. 13 – 9:33 PM PDT / Sept. 14 – 12:33 AM EDT
FYI 1: The “Harvest Moon” is whichever Full Moon occurs closest to the Autumn Equinox. (Libra Sun 9/23/19)
FYI 2: “Triskaidekaphobia” – fear of Friday the 13th. I have found that Friday the 13th is usually a lucky day for me. I don’t think it had anything to do with it being a payday or anything? 🙂 Regardless, I expect good things to happen!
Moon: Aries, Full, Harvest = Powerful, 10/5/17
This month the Full Moon, called a “Harvest Moon” due to the season, is in the 1st sign of the Zodiac. As always with Fire sign Aries, make sure you have something physical to do to burn off all that excess energy. Reign in any aggressive urges, think before you act. Ruled by “Warrior” planet Mars, its combustible, aggressive, spark plug traits may be influenced by transiting Uranus, the unpredictable planet of change and revolution. (It remains until May 2018.)
Use the next few weeks to finish up old projects, clean up messes (physical, personal?) that you have been ignoring lately. Initiate, take charge, go first – just don’t do that “throw out the baby with the bath water” thing. Think it through and get it done.
* Harvest Full Moon in Aries 10/5/17 * 2:40 PM EDT / 11:40 AM PDT
**The first Full Moon after the Autumn Equinox is always labeled a “Harvest Moon” (9/22/17 – Sun moved into Libra)
During a “Full” phase, the luminaries are exactly opposite each other. The Aries Moon is fully lit by the Libra Sun. (Beautiful, dramatic, nothing to fear.)
Harvest Full Moon in Pisces 9/8/14!
Get a grip. Monday’s Full Moon in sensitive, emotional Water sign Pisces is wonderful for creativity and connecting with others, but sometimes not so much for staying grounded in what is actually happening. Be as imaginative, caring and compassionate as you wish, just don’t be taken in by any “too good to be true” promises or “poor me” scenarios. Be present, stay in the moment – dismiss any escapist urges. Reality may often bite, but it can be handled without mind altering options. Take care of your inner self. You matter.
When the Moon is “Full”, the Sun is directly opposite and lights it up. Rather than the more familiar crescent shape, we see it round and beautiful. The Lunar orb is “waning” on its way to the 3rd and 4th quarters, making it a good time to finish up old projects, clean up messes that you have been staring at for the past few weeks.
BTW – “Harvest” is any Full Moon that occurs closest to the Vernal or Autumnal Equinox. (Which will happen when the Sun moves into Air sign Libra on 9/22/14).
Full Moon Pisces: 9/8/14 9:38PM EDT / 6:38PM PDT
Shine on Full, Aries Harvest Moon!
All day Saturday and Sunday will be about Fiery Aries Moon energy. The Lunar orb will also be “Full”, which adds extra potency. The vibe should be perfect for any “David & Goliath”-like challenges you may have to deal with this weekend. Focus your physical, aggressive urges, strategize and think before you act (rash, over the top impulses can lead to embarrassment?). Warrior planet Mars rules spark plug Aries and it’s “In your face” tendencies can mean direct, honest, competitive rather than just loud and angry. The influence of the Harvest Moon transit thru this sign can make our weekend fast paced and exciting. Take advantage.
The Moon is “waning” on its way to the 3rd and 4th quarters, making it a good time to finish up old projects, clean up messes that you have been ignoring for the past few weeks. Once you clear out what has been hanging around, you will create space for the “New” – ideas, things, spaces. (The next New Moon will be 10/15/12 – in Air sign Libra.)
FYI – Harvest Moon 9/29/12, 11:19PM Eastern / 8:19PM Pacific. The first Full Moon after the Fall Equinox is always labeled a “Harvest Moon” (The Equinox occurred on September 22, when the Sun moved into Libra)
*During a “Full” phase, the luminaries are exactly opposite each other. The Aries Moon is fully lit by the Libra Sun. (Beautiful, dramatic, nothing to fear.)
Astrology: Harvest Full Moon in Pisces 9/12/11
Get a grip. Monday’s early morning Full Moon in sensitive, emotional Water sign Pisces is wonderful for creativity and connecting with others, but sometimes not so much for staying grounded in what is actually happening. Be as imaginative, caring and compassionate as you wish, but strive for clarity, from yourself and others, stay in the moment – dismiss any escapist urges. Reality may often bite, but it can be handled without mind altering options. Take care of your inner self.
Overnight, the Moon jumps into volatile, action oriented Fire sign Aries. The energy may be different with the sign change, but “Full” traits are still in effect for the next few weeks. Clean up any leftovers (I don’t mean just food). Complete and tidy up any projects hanging around so that the way is clear for the “New” Moon on 9/27, a time of beginnings.
FYI: A Harvest Moon is whichever Full Moon occurs closest to the Autumnal Equinox (before or after).
Full Moon on Monday September 12, 5:27AM Eastern / 2:27AM Pacific
Astrology: Shine on Harvest Moon!
This month’s Full Moon is in the Fire sign of Aries on Thursday 9/23. It is also this year’s Harvest Moon. (“Harvest” is any Full Moon that occurs closest to the Autumnal Equinox– which happened when the Sun glided into Libra on 9/22/10.) During this Full phase, the Libra Sun is directly opposite and lights the Aries Moon. Rather than the more familiar crescent shape, we see it round and beautiful.
The Moon is “waning” on its way to the 3rd and 4th quarters, making it a good time to finish up old projects, clean up messes that you have been staring at for the past few weeks. An Aries Moon is perfect for physical activity. Get it done! Once you clear out what has been hanging around, you will create space for the “new” – ideas, things, people, places. However, fiery Aries can be a little over the top with all that Mars energy. Don’t do that “throw out the baby with the bath water” thing. Think it through before letting go?
