Libra Full Moon On Saturday

Astro Moon FullA Full Moon will be in classy Libra on April 4, 2015. This Air sign is ruled by the lovely Venus and hopefully this will make us more inclined to cooperate with partners, seek balance in negotiations, and remain calm during deliberations.

A great time to do all of the above while being super social, beautifying both ourselves and our surroundings at the same time. If the Libra Moon can help us tune out / tone down any negative, angry voices around us (or in our heads), terrific.

Full Moon in Leo (But, It’s Really NOT All About You)

Astro Moon FullTuesday’s Full Moon, 2/3/15, will be in dramatic, Fire sign Leo – no better way to heat up, perk up a long winter! A “Full” phase intensifies the traits of the sign it is visiting and with Sun ruled Leo, (its Zodiac symbol is the glorious Lion, King of the jungle) we feel generous, creative and get the urge to flame and sparkle while flitting across the world stage. (“Look at me!”).

So take that spotlight, wear some regal purple, be royally magnanimous to your subjects (friends and family) and have a great time. Also, use the Full Moon’s energy to finish projects begun at the time of the last New Moon (1/20/15). Its considered a fortunate time to complete things and it will last for about 10 days even as the Moon moves into practical Virgo on Wednesday.

Cancer Full Moon – It’s About Home!

The first Full Moon of the year occurs on Sunday, January 04, 2015 in the  sensitive, family and home focused Water sign of Cancer. As a “New” Moon is best for beginning projects- starting something new, implementation of ideas – the “Full” phase (Moon opposes the Sun in the sky, as it  “wanes” on its way to the 3rd and 4th quarters) is optimum for the finalization of projects, clearing up messes, etc. Finishing touches are best done during the last 2 weeks of Moon quarters. The cycle begins again at the next New Moon phase – January 20.  Astro Moon Full

When Cancer is involved, completing old business may have something to do with where you live – cleaning out the old, giving space to the new. Gather and give away anything no longer useful or positive in your space; whether it be things, feelings or conversations. Gemini Full Moon – Networking Weekend!

Astro Moon FullA Full Moon in Gemini starts off our weekend on Saturday December 6, 2014. The Luminaries are opposite each other: the Sun has been in Sagittarius since Nov 22nd and the Lunar orb is in its partner sign of Gemini. While the Moon is in the versatile 3rd sign of the Zodiac, clever verbal/ written exchanges, versatility/flexibility and the desire to travel and be with people are enhanced. As always with a “Full” phase, finish and complete any old projects hanging around. Clear out any debris to make room for what’s next.

On Sunday morning, the Moon shifts to Moon ruled, Water sign Cancer. However, Full Moon influences will remain for the next 10 days, so be prepared for the Capricorn New Moon on December 21, 2014.

Aries Full Moon 10/8/14 – Hold On…

Astro Moon total Lunar Eclipse Blood MoonThis month’s Full Moon, a total Lunar Eclipse (Blood Moon), is in Fire sign Aries. The 1st sign of the Zodiac is ruled by “Warrior” planet Mars. Combustible, physical and aggressive, this sign’s usual “in your face” traits will be intensified by the power of a “Full” phase and also by unpredictable transiting Uranus.  Even though currently retrograde, until 12/21/14, it still can be full of surprises and urges for revolution.

Do the suggested Full Moon things – finish up old projects, clarify any fuzzy ideas that keep hanging around (remember Mercury is Retrograde now, so this is a good time to review). Use the extra Aries energy and take action. By clearing out useless stuff, you create space for the “new” ideas, things, spaces, people. However, forceful Aries can be a little over the top sometimes. Don’t torch everything while trying to weed out the old, think things through before the ashes start to float around.

Harvest Full Moon in Pisces 9/8/14!

Monday’s Full Moon in sensitive, emotional Water sign Pisces is wonderful for creativity and connecting with others, but sometimes not so much for staying grounded in what is actually happening. Be as imaginative, caring and compassionate as you wish, just don’t be taken in by any “too good to be true” promises or “poor me” scenarios. Be present, stay in the moment – dismiss any escapist urges. Reality may often bite, but it can be handled without mind altering options. Take care of your inner self. You matter.

When the Moon is “Full”, the Sun is directly opposite and lights it up. Rather than the more familiar crescent shape, we see it round and beautiful. The Lunar orb is “waning” on its way to the 3rd and 4th quarters, making it a good time to finish up old projects, clean up messes that you have been staring at for the past few weeks.

BTW – “Harvest” is any Full Moon that occurs closest to the Vernal or Autumnal Equinox. (Which will happen when the Sun moves into Air sign Libra on 9/22/14).

Full Moon in Ambitious Capricorn!

Astro Moon FullThe Moon is in Capricorn today – it’s all about status, authority and work. To make these traits even more intense, the Lunar orb will be “Full” in this Saturn ruled sign on Saturday July 12, 2014. (The Sun is in Cancer and the Moon is lit up with reflected light in its opposite sign.) Our thoughts lean towards managing career, long term goals, creating success (whatever that means to you) and reaching for the top. Are your business strategies, actions producing results? Full Moon in Capricorn is a good time to think about it and then take any needed action when the Moon is in its “New” phase, 7/26/14.

Later this weekend, the Moon will be in Uranus ruled, freedom loving Aquarius. The 11th sign of the Zodiac urges us to be unconventional, unpredictable and unwilling to conform. If you’re going to rebel, make sure that there is substance.

Full Moon AND Friday the 13th – Uh Oh!

Just kidding 😎   Regardless of the stories about full Moons and what they do to us, we won’t necessarily grow fangs or act out. The Sagittarius Moon will be fully lit by the Sun in the opposite sign Gemini – very dramatic, but nothing to fear. And “Triskaidekaphobia” is just that, a “phobia”. The exact time the “Full” Lunar orb occurs in Fire sign Sag on “Friday the 13th” will depend on Time Zones – East Coast, Europe, etc. (It will happen on the Thursday June 12, 2014 Pacific Time).

Astro Moon FullA “Full” phase is a time to look for results– we start to see the end product of what ideas/efforts were begun at the time of the New Moon. With adventurous, upbeat Sagittarius, we have energy, a sense that “of course good things can happen” outlook and a willingness to go for miracles – which can come in handy when edging a project toward fruition. Of course, since nebulous Neptune and mercurial Mercury are Retrograde, do sweat the details, research big plans and ideas to be sure they are feasible. If it seems “too good to be true…”

*Earthy Capricorn Moon, Saturday – authority prone, ambitious, organized

*Airy Aquarius Moon, Sunday – friendly, innovative, rebellious with a cause

Scorpio Full Moon – Go Passionate, Go Deep!

Astro Moon FullThings might get a little intense on Wednesday May 14, 2014. Scorpio, a passionate water sign, can be emotional and sensitive and the force of a Full Moon can distill all that power into a cauldron of “feelings”.  All that energy can go off the charts. Tuck in all exposed nerves. Don’t take everything personally. During a Full Moon, gauge what has been accomplished so far and move to finalize, complete tasks in the next few weeks. Use Scorpio’s focus and determination to figure out what to keep and what to throw away (meaning – discard whatever is no longer useful.) Letting go is not necessarily giving up.
