Life is always a bit deeper when the Moon is in sensitive, sizzling Scorpio and when the luminary is at its “Full” phase in this emotional Water sign, power and passion can go off the charts.

The Scorpio Full Moon arrives on Sunday, April 29, 2018. Ruled by transformational planet Pluto, (traditional ruler is warrior planet Mars) there are deep feelings, intensity and purpose influencing us with energy to spare.

A Full Moon is a good time to gauge what needs to be finalized and completed in the next few weeks. Use Scorpio’s focus and determination to figure out what to keep and what to throw away (meaning – discard whatever is no longer useful.) Letting go is not necessarily giving up.

Scorpio also pushes us to pay attention to money matters that may involve others. Are there any financial issues that need to be cleared or settled– taxes, business ventures? Does anyone owe you anything? Time to collect?

On Thursday April 19, 2018, the Sun moves into stubborn and determined Taurus. Even though the Bull is its Astrology symbol, it is ruled by the lovely, romantic planet Venus. Taurus, the 2nd sign of the Zodiac, has many other dimensions.

While appreciating all the creature comforts, this sensual Earth sign also wants us to be physically and financially secure at all times. Loved ones are treated to poetry, music and gourmet restaurants, while getting a lecture on avoiding monetary pot holes. (A nice mix.)

For the next few weeks, regardless of Sun sign, we can all tap into Taurus traits of dependability,  strength and endurance so that we solidify and complete the projects started during the high energy of the Aries Sun. Watch out for a tendency to be overcautious – don’t get stuck and resistant to change.  Security is attractive, especially in this climate, but, sometimes we have to take a second look, take a chance before the “no”.

The possibilities are endless. We have “Triskaidekaphobia” Day – scary?, bad? troublesome?  (Personally, I think the experience is up to me.) And we have a weekend Moon in rambunctious “I’m #1” Aries – active, aggressive, adventurous (I love alliteration).

On Sunday 4/15/18, the Lunar orb will position next to the Sun = “New”.  A New Moon is considered a great time to start / create / plant something. The universe will support. And, last but not least, Mercury goes into Direct Motion on the same day (It has been Retrograde since 3/22). The Communication planet will take a few days to pick up forward speed, so continue to pay attention to the details.

Life is full. With high energy Fire sign Aries, look before you leap, think before you combust. Fun can surely be had, just use moderation.

Regardless of how endless Winter may seem for some of us, Spring is here! The Vernal Equinox arrived, in the Northern Hemisphere, on Tuesday March 20^, 2018 at 1 degree of impulsive, high energy Aries, the 1^st sign of the Zodiac. In the past 12 months, the Sun has transited all the Astrology signs and the cycle starts anew. Let’s spring into action! (Sorry, I couldn’t resist it 😆).

Ruled by warrior planet Mars, aggressive Aries can be used to springboard ideas and projects that have been percolating all Winter. Be aware that unpredictable Uranus will be in this sign until 2019. It can make the Aries rush to adventure unfocused and scattered resulting in waste – time, energy, money. Pay attention to those urges to just “act” (act out or act up). Action with purpose and planning, rather than just because we’re bored will work. Risk vs reckless – don’t be careless.

Adding potential snap and crackle to interactions, Communication planet Mercury transits Aries until 5/14/18, (Retrograde 3/22 to 4/15/18). Writing, speaking, etc. may have more quickness, edge and bite – you’ll be great in debates? Create powerful tweets?  (Just watch the snark)

Heads up! The first Mercury Retrograde of 2018 happens on Thursday March 22, in the first sign of the Zodiac – impulsive, energetic, “me first”, Aries. In the midst of the Communication planet’s backward move, there can be snafus, confusion, flubbed details, wild declarations while speaking, texting & FBing. Besides written / verbal interaction, this may affect business, education, small gadgets (back up your stuff) and transportation (travel delays, wrong destinations – a few weeks ago a German Shepherd destined for Kansas, wound up in Japan).

Mercury Retrograde is a challenging time for Aries’ natural Impatience & heat. Think first. Be aware, be clear, watch the tantrum trigger. If feeling the need to argue or admonish, do it without the scorched earth approach. (Put the flame thrower back in the closet. You might be blowing up over incorrect information.)

Rather than initiate anything new, review and revisit ideas, revitalize old projects, re invent an approach. If you must sign a contract and / or begin something important, check everything twice, make sure the details are precise. Avoid having to do it over again.

On Thursday March 1, 2018, the Moon (Virgo) is opposite and reflecting the Sun (Pisces) = “Full Moon”. The hard working 6^th sign of the Zodiac is about health, service, handling the details and getting things done. A “Full” phase intensifies the traits of the sign it’s in and with Sun ruled Leo, (its Zodiac symbol is the glorious King of the jungle) we feel generous, creative and get the urge to flame and sparkle while flitting across the world stage. “Look at me!”.
