Aries Moon – Action, Risk, Energy!

Astro moon-waning-crescent-lBeginning on Friday 7/26/13 thru Sunday, we are influenced by the impatient, aggressive sign of Aries. (Think “Action figure”)  This Fire sign is the 1st sign of the Zodiac and is ruled by the planet Mars – the patron saint of warriors. Arian Moons are perhaps best for movement rather than mental activity, but still a good time to initiate, take charge- just think it thru and go for it.

Power down occasionally so that loved ones don’t feel that they are in the presence of a bulldozer. Use the sign’s power and physicality to burn off any anger or frustration that might be lurking underneath. But by all means, take advantage of the energy – get crackin’, do something different, conquer new territories, etc., etc.

Full Moon in Aquarius 7/22 * Radical Change?

The revolution may be televised or not – but there will certainly be unusual, unconventional activity whenever the Moon is Full in the 11th sign of the Zodiac. Independent, group focused Aquarius can be a stubborn sign with an affinity for causes. Before jumping to the front lines, pause and reflect – is the issue real for you, or is the response automatic / knee jerk.

Harlem Book Fair 2013

Happening this coming weekend is a  fantastic yearly event involving over 200 exhibit booths, music, panel discussions and children’s activities. Great way to spend a Saturday in the city!

 “The vision of the Harlem Book Fair is to partner with local and national leadership organizations under the banner of literacy awareness, affirming HBF as the nation’s largest African American literary event celebrating family literacy, community empowerment and community cooperation.“

Virgo & Libra Moon Weekend – Variety!

Take the opportunity on Friday and Saturday and use the Virgo Moon to get all practical, responsible, “detailish” and stuff. It may sound a little flat and unexciting but it doesn’t have to be.
